#21 Punks verdaderos

Joe Strummer de The Clash falleció a finales de 2002. Estaba yo celebrando la llegada del nuevo año con algunos amigos, cuando se me ocurrió brindar por el finado. Me quedé solo en el brindis, pues nadie sabía de quien estaba hablando; es mas, se rieron de lo que acababa de proponer. Lo curioso de todo es que algunos de ellos (a quienes apenas puedo llamar ya amigos, ya que después del colegio perdimos bastante contacto entre nosotros) eran de los mas punks del lugar, metidos de lleno en la escena hardcore punk de Zaragoza, frecuentando el arrebato y otros centros sociales, pero todo esto sin tener ni idea de la existencia de un pionero de toda su adorada escena.

Al fin y al cabo, lo mas importante es la música, las canciones, pero para un aficionado a un estilo determinado de música, para alguien que se considera parte de una escena, me parece esencial conocer sus orígenes al detalle y tenerse conocidos al dedillo, sin ir mas lejos, a The Clash antes que a otros muchos advenedizos del punk.

Resumiendo, que me parece paradójico que aquellos que se consideraban mas punks que el mismísimo G.G. Allin, no supieran del pobre Joe.

Va por ti, Joe, que yo si que brindé, sin ser punk ni nada de eso.

Como veo que todo el mundo actualiza su blog, no voy a ser menos. Podría escribir sobre algún libro, pero para eso esta la crítica literaria. Podría escribir sobre algun disco, pero para eso esta la crítica musical. Y no soy buen crítico, porque a mi, o bien un disco o un libro me parece cojonudo, o bien me parece una puta mierda. Claro que no todo es blanco o negro, y que hay discos y libros que considero normalitos, del montón, pero me inspira mas el amor o el odio. Y la objetividad me parece óptima para realizar una crítica. Pero esto no es un blog de crítica musical o literaria. Y es mi blog, asi que puedo escribir lo que me de la real gana. Hablar de discos cojonudos. De libros interesantes. De discos malísimos. De tostones de libros. O contar cualquier otra cosa..pero mi vida esta tan alrededor de estas disciplinas (sobre todo de la musical), que se hace dificil variar.

Puedo contar cosas sueltas..

-Me he dado cuenta de que hay un montón de canciones de AC/DC tituladas con 'rock and roll' o 'rock'. Me parece bien. Para que soltar cualquier tipo de mierda cuando puedes hablar de rock, de fiestas, y de tias cachondas buenorras. Y que no falte el infierno.

-Mañana me voy a Madrid de nuevo. La excusa esta vez, es otro concierto, el de Mercury Rev.

Como esta actualización puede ser un poco chorras, voy a adornarla con un bonito video que grabé el pasado domingo en el concierto de Stereolab en Madrid. La canción es Cybele's Reverie.

Hace mas de una y de dos horas que debería estar durmiendo, y ademas tengo mucho sueño, pero esto de internet entretiene una barbaridad. Entre otras cosas, voy a ver si escribo algo en este blog. Otra tontada por el estilo, cualquier cosa. Después de todo, es solamente un blog.

Sigo sin tener claro si merece la pena esto de crearse un blog. Hay gente que cuenta cosas que le pasan, es decir, detalla en mayor o menor grado su vida privada. No es lo que querría escribir aquí en principio. Hay gente que opina sobre música u otras disciplinas culturales. Para eso tengo un fotolog (/yourgodisfear) donde cuento a que conciertos he ido o que artistas me gustan, y que canciones recomiendo de dichos artistas. Hay gente también, que escribe poesía, o prosa. Para lo primero, por ahora, no me veo con ganas ni de intentarlo. Para lo segundo, tal vez me vea con mas ganas. Lo que no pienso hacer es esforzarme en 'crear' algo. Tiene que salirme sin demasiado esfuerzo, espontáneamente, casi sobre la marcha. Sin pensar demasiado ni corregir demasiado. Vamos, una especie de 'stream of consciousness', pero en mi caso, de pacotilla. No voy a intentar que quede bien. Si sale bien, es porque ha salido así, a la primera. Si no, pues o no lo publico, o ahí se queda. Insisto, ya veremos que pasa con esto.

Me han entrado ganas de ensuciar justo cuando estaba creando este blog. No se si es un mal presagio o que, pero bueno. Una vez terminado el proceso, he vuelto para empezar a escribir. No tengo muy claro el porqué de este blog, antes tenia varios blogs y no escribía mas que chorradas en ellos. Y no hablo de intentos de producir literatura de algún tipo, no. Chorradas en el sentido mas estricto de su nombre. Así que ya veremos que pasa con esto. Nada mas por ahora.
